  • What: One of the bestselling artists of all time, Lionel Richie is known for such hits as "All Night Long," "Truly," "Three Times A Lady" over a career beginning as a member of the Commodores and spanning more than half a century. The Joliet Township East High School graduate and comes to Ravinia for two midweek nights on his 32-city "Hello" tour.

Buddy Guy

  • What: The career of blues guitar legend Buddy Guy began in Chicago and led him to membership in the the Rock and Roll, Musicians and Lousiana Music Halls of Fame. Described by as "one of the last guardians of the great American blues" by former President Obama — who Guy once persuaded to sing "Sweet Home Chicago" — there is arguably no more influential guitarist alive. He will be joined by Blues Traveler and Shemekia Copeland for a Friday night show.

Counting Crows

  • What: It's been more than 25 years since the Northern California alternative pop band's breakthrough debut album featured "Mr Jones" and "Round Here." The 1996 follow -up reached No. 1 in the U.S. with the single "A Long December." The band's five subsequent studio releases featured another gold hit with "Accidentally in Love" from the Shrek 2 soundtrack. The "25 Years and Counting" tour features opener Margaret Glaspy.

Chicago - The Band

  • What: One of the most popular rock bands from the late '60s and early '70s, the pop legends are known for "You're the Inspiration," "Saturday in the Park," "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" and many more.

Skokie

Paula Poundstone

  • What: The comedian, author, actress and "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" panelist brings a sold-out show to the North Shore. Poundstone was the first woman to perform at the White House Correspondents Dinner and is an American Comedy Award Winner. Known for her masterful crowd work and improvisation, she has appeared in numerous television specials, late night programs and a Disney movie.

Evanston

Dave Davies

  • What: The Kinks guitarist began his solo career in 1967, but is perhaps still best known for the unforgettable power chords on the proto-punk hit "You Really Got Me." The British rocker comes to Evanston for an intimate Saturday show on the final weekend of his spring U.S. tour.

Toots and the Maytals

  • What: The reggae pioneers bring their memorable live show to the 2019 Out of Space outdoor series. The masterful voice of 76-year-old frontman Toots Hibbert continues to thrill audiences around the world, with hits including "54-46 Was My Number," written about Hibbert's 18-month prison sentence for marijuana possession, "Pressure Drop," "Funky Kingston" and "County Road," their take on the John Denver classic. They'll be joined by Shamarr Allen & the Underdawgs.

Jimmy Vaughn

  • What: The Texas blues guitarist and brother of Stevie Ray Vaughn initially gained prominence as a co-founder of the Fabulous Thunderbirds with a mix of blues, rock and classic R&B that helped boost the prominence of roadhouse blues in the 1980's.

Waukegan

Penn & Teller

  • What: Duo Penn Jillette and Raymond Teller are approaching their fourth decade of performing together. They'll bring the longest-running magical act in Las Vegas history to the Genessee Theatre for a Friday night show.

Patton Oswalt

  • What: The comedian, actor and author has excelled on stage and screen in both comedy and drama. The Dandy Warhols
