In addition to brunch specials at local restaurants, some other area businesses are offering special Mother's Day deals to go.

The Fresh Market, at 850 N. Western Ave. in Lake Forest, and 3232 Lake Ave. in Wilmette, is offering a brunch package with a choice of quiche, applewood smoked bacon, tropical fruit and blueberry muffins, according to the website Delish. The dinner bundle includes a surf-and-turf dinner for two, with a choice of filet mignon or a Chilean sea bass, whipped potatoes, asparagus and chocolate strawberries. Both options feature a seasonal flower bouquet.
