Man Faces Felony After Fleeing HP Police To Northbrook: Blotter
Police said 21-year-old University Park man was charged with possessing a stolen vehicle after a foot chase: Highland Park Police Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park and Highwood police departments and public records as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt.
INCIDENTS
THEFT/LOST PROPERTY
A Cartier 18-carat rose gold bangle bracelet with four diamonds was lost or stolen somewhere in Chicago or Highland Park sometime between 7 p.m Nov. 1 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 2, police were told

CRIMINAL DEFACEMENT
Around 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, an officer discovered graffiti depicting male genitalia on a path north of Walker Avenue in the area of the Openlands Lakeshore Preserve.
FELONY THEFT
Two gas-powered leaf blowers worth a combined $1,120 were stolen from an open side door of a trailer parked in the 1200 block of Hilary Lane around 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. Police were told a worker was nearby but did not spot any suspects or cars.

ARRESTS
Fernando Alvarado Reyes, 23, of the 1400 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, was arrested around 1 a.m. Nov. 5 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license following a traffic stop near Midlothian Avenue and Sunset Road. He was also cited for running a stop sign.
Gerardo Munoz-Mora, 43, of the 900 block of Deerfield Road, Highland Park, was arrested around 6:45 a.m. Nov. 6 in the 1700 block of Hickory Court and charged with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Maxwell J. Murphy, 21, of an unknown University Park address, was arrested around 11 p.m. on Nov. 6 and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, obstructing a peace officer, driving without a valid license and misdemeanor theft after fleeing police on foot from the 900 block of Green Bay Road into Northbrook.
A 26-year-old Highwood man was arrested around 9 p.m. on Nov. 7 and and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license and issued citations for expired registration and disobeying a traffic signal or sign following a traffic stop at Green Bay Road and Laurel Avenue.
