Michael Jordan To Auction Highland Park Mansion

On the market for more than 18 months, Michael Jordan’s 56,000-square-foot mansion is still available.

But perhaps not for long as the former Chicago Bulls superstar and Hall of Fame basketball player will auction it off Nov. 22, according to a story in the Chicago Sun Times today.

Originally listed for $29 million, the 56,000-square-foot-home home, built between 1993 and 1995, includes nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and an indoor basketball court. The price was reduced to $21 million earlier this year.

When the property was originally listed, the Chicago Tribune reported that if Jordan's home sells for "anywhere near that asking price, it would be the most expensive, publicly listed home sale in the Chicago area."

The minimum bid will be $21 million, according to the Sun Times article. There is also an indoor pool deck linking the main house to the guest wing. And, of course, there is an NBA-quality basketball court.
