Michael Jordan's Mansion in Highland Park Sees Another Price Drop

Former Chicago Bulls star's palace now costs half of what it once did.

Basketball superstar Michael Jordan continues to make a serious effort at unloading his mansion in Highland Park, this time dropping the price by about $1.145 million.

The recent price drop puts the value of the home at 2700 Point Drive at $14.855 million, its lowest asking price yet, but still among the costliest North Shore homes on the market.

The price is also about half of what it was when it first when on the market in 2012, when it had a $29 million price tag on it.

Surrounded by seven acres, the giant home includes nine bedrooms and 15 baths.

The home’s last price cut occurred in January 2013, according to Curbed Chicago - when it dropped by $8 million. Jordan has been a full-time Florida resident for at least the last five years.

It also has a regulation size basketball court, a spacious weight room and the number “23” on the front gate leading to the basketball palace.
