Mobile COVID-19 Testing Site Comes To Highland Park

The city and park district are partnering to host a mobile coronavirus testing site at two locations.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — A mobile COVID-19 testing site is scheduled to spend two days in Highland Park next week.

City and park district officials have partnered with the Illinois Department of Public Health to set up mobile coronavirus testing at two locations.

Drive-thru and walk-up testing via nasal swabs will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at Hidden Creek Aquapark, 1220 Fredrickson Place, and Friday at Highland Park County Club, 1201 Park Ave. West.

The testing is free and available to everyone regardless of symptoms or residency. Health insurance is not necessary, but officials asked those with insurance to bring their cards. No photo identification is required.

Results will be available via phone call from four to seven days after the date of testing, according to state public health officials. Answers to other common questions are available in English and Spanish.
