Multiple Suspects Smash Car Dealership Glass Window, Steal 4 Vehicles In Highland Park

Officers learned that five unknown subjects forced entry through a service bay window using an unknown object Sunday morning.

Police are searching for five suspects who smashed a window at a Highland Park car dealership and stole four vehicles Sunday morning.

The Highland Park Police Department responded around 5:50 a.m. Sunday to Muller Honda, 550 Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park, for an auto theft call.

Officers learned that five unknown subjects forced entry through a service bay window using an unknown object.

The subjects entered the building and located four service vehicles that had the keys inside them.

The suspects drove the cars out of the bay doors and fled the scene.

Police say that the stolen vehicles included a gray 2019 Honda CR-V, a burgundy 2019 Honda CR-V, a white 2019 Honda CR-V and a grey 2020 Honda Civic.

Highland Park Deputy Police Chief William Bonaguidi said that detectives are still reviewing video surveillance footage and may release images of the incident soon.
