"The Zuzu's shows are the only live stand-up comedy in Highland Park, and they are really fun to produce," says Funnier By The Lake Comedy's, Larry Bloom, who produces FBTL comedy showcases throughout Lake County, and performs regularly in Chicago and the suburbs. "Madame Zuzu's is small, so it fills up quickly, and the audiences have been great. They arrive ready to laugh, and we bring the funny," added Bloom.
Showcases at Madame Zuzu's are PG-13 and have no cover charge or minimum drink/food order, leaving audience members with extra cash for the sandwiches, treats and the vast selection of teas for sale at the venue, as well as merchandise from the individual performers.
