Ravinia favorite Nicole Cabell, 2005 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, joins Ricky Ian Gordon, composer of Broadway’s Sycamore Trees and the opera The Grapes of Wrath—which won rave reviews in its recent Chicago premiere at Northwestern University—to perform his song settings of Langston Hughes’s poetry on Tuesday in Highland Park.
