Outdoor Dining At Highland Park Restaurants: Take Our Survey
Share your opinion in our short survey about Friday's reopening of bars and restaurants in Phase 3 of the governor's Restore Illinois plan.
HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Restaurants and bars in many Chicago suburbs will be able to open Friday for limited in-person service for the first time in 10 weeks, as those with open-air seating may open as part of Phase 3 of Gov. J.B. Pritzker's Restore Illinois plan.
Establishments with private patios, rooftops, or open-window space where more than half of a wall can be removed may begin offering dining services beginning May 29. Highland Park has begun offering temporary permits for expanded outdoor dining areas, with plans to potentially designate areas in Central and Ravinia business districts for physically distanced outdoor dining.
