Plan Commission Oks More Evening Sporting Events at Wolters Field
If the City Council approves the plan, the field will be able to host a total of 60 lighted events.

Township High School District 113’s request for more evening sporting events at Highland Park High School’s Wolters Field has received a favorable recommendation from the city’s Plan Commission but comes with a list of conditions to address nearby residents concerns, Chicago Tribune reported.
If the City Council approves the plan, Wolters Field will be able to host a total of 60 lighted events, with eight ending by 10:30 p.m., another eight ending by 9:30 p.m., 44 twilight events that would end by 8 p.m. and the district is limited to playing music from the stadium’s public address system to 20 minutes before games, the newspaper reported.
