Police Arrest Man Fighting with Tire Iron on Skokie Valley Rd.
In a separate incident, an 88 year old was charged with retail theft.

Aggravated battery
Police responded to the 300 Block of Skokie Valley Road at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 12 for a report of multiple subjects fighting, one of whom had a tire iron. Servando Hamros, 22, of the 2300 block of Emerson in Evanston, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery in a public place, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal damage to property. Hamros was transported to bond court.

Possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia
Police responded to the 600 block of Hyacinth Place for a report of a dispute at a residence at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Qieva Wilson, 45, of the 600 block of Hyacinth Place, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was transported to bond court.

Michelle Johnson, 48, also of the 600 block of Hyacinth Place, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on bond with an Oct. 10 court date.
Retail theft
Rozalyn Pearlman, 88, of the 1100 block of Lake Cook Road in Northbrook, was charged with retail theft after shoplifting at a business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 3 p.m. Sept. 9. She was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 8 court date.
Theft
Someone stole several pieces of jewelry from a residence located in the 1600 block of Northland on or around Aug. 28. A Tiffany silver heart necklace, Tiffany silver heart earrings and a David Yurman silver and gold bracelet were reported missing.
Shrubs cut
Someone cut the tops off of 10-foot tall shrubs on a property located at the corner of Green Bay and Edgewood roads between Sept. 8 and 9.
Attempted residential burglary
Someone tried to break into an apartment in the 1600 block of Second Avenue between Sept. 5 and 9. Entry was not gained but the door trim was damaged.
Car window smashed, iPhone stolen
Someone threw a brick through a car window parked in a driveway overnight Sept. 9 in the 0-100 block of Laurel Avenue. An iPhone was taken.
Residential burglary
Someone entered a vehicle parked inside an unlocked garage overnight Sept. 9 in the 2100 block of Sheridan Road and stole a piece of costume jewelry.
Knife stolen
Someone entered an unlocked Ford Flex sometime between 4 p.m. Sept. 10 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 11 while it was parked in a driveway in the 2800 block of Patten Road and took a gunmetal grey 4-inch knife with machined holes in the handle.
Burglary from a motor vehicle
Someone entered an unlocked Nissan between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and 8 a.m. Sept. 10 while it was parked in the 300 block of Elm Place and took a silver bracelet with beads, an iPhone 5 and charger, a GPS charger cord and an auxillary stereo cable.
Unlocked Jaguar entered
Someone entered an unlocked Jaguar between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and 8 a.m. Sept. 10 while it was parked in the 300 block of Elm Place. Nothing was taken.
Burglary from a motor vehicle
Someone entered an unlocked BMW and stole cash and loose coins from a middle cup console while the car was parked in the 300 block of Vine Avenue.
