Police Make DUI Arrest on Skokie Valley Road

2 other men were arrested for driving while their licenses were revoked for prior DUIs.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED FOR DUI

Jose Hurtado, 27, of the 1200 block of Montesano in Waukegan, was charged with driving while license revoked for DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after police responded to a two-car accident near Park Avenue West and Skokie Valley Road at 10 a.m. Sept. 29. Hurtado was released on bond with a Nov. 12 court date.

Patrick Langballe, 38, of the 1900 block of Schiller Avenue in Winnetka, was charged with driving while license revoked for DUI and speeding after police stopped him in the 1300 block of Park Avenue West at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 1. He was transported to bond court.

Karmet Cox, 39, of the 2300 block of Lewis Avenue in Zion, was charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and driving while license suspended after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 11 p.m. Sept. 29. Cox was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 24 court date.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Anjala Brantley, 25, of the 9800 block of South Jeffrey Blvd. in Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended and no rear registration lamp illuminated after being stopped by police in the 400 block of the Edens Expressway at midnight Sept. 29. Brantley was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 22 court date.

Irene Galindo, 34, of the 900 block of Half Day Road in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and one brake light illuminated after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 2. Galindo was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Nov. 12 court date.
