Power Outages Reported in Highland Park, Lake Forest
Monday's winter storm knocked out power in some areas.
As of 8:15 p.m., power outages have been reported in spurts in Chicago’s northern lakefront communities, according to ComEd.
Two outages are in effect in the area just east of the Sunset Valley Golf Club and Bob O Link Golf Club in Highland Park. One, affecting 19 customers, is likely due to a fallen tree and is expected to be restored by 7 a.m. Tuesday. The other, affecting five users, should be restored by midnight.
Another nearby outage on Western Ave. just north of Half Day Road has affected less than five and is expected to be restored before midnight.

In Lake Forest, only one outage has been reported. It’s just east of West Park on Summit Ave. and will likely be restored soon.
