Proposed Highland Park Medical Marijuana Dispensary changes name

A proposed medical marijuana dispensary at 1460 Old Skokie Road in Highland Park decided to go by the name Elevele rather than risk a misunderstanding with the moniker of another business a few doors away, according to a story in the Chicago Tribune.

Originally filing its application under the name Northshore Alternative Therapy, owners Andy and Veronica Hunt of Lake Forest did not want either their business or North Shore Pediatric Therapy at 1442 Old Skokie Road to be confused with each other, according to the Tribune.
