Railroad Crossing At Old Deerfield Road Closed

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The railroad crossing at Old Deerfield Road in Highland Park was closed Thursday to conduct maintenance, according to an alert from the city.

Residents were asked to contact Union Pacific Railroad with any questions about the closure or Highland Park police with any queries about alternative routes and traffic patterns surrounding the crossing in the Briergate area.

City officials said the crossing is expected to be reopened around 5 p.m.
