Russian Tycoon's Former Home Back on Market

The Highland Park lakefront home was last sold a year ago.

The former Highland Park home of a Russian tycoon who died massively in debt is back on the market only a year after last being sold, Crain’s Chicago Business reports.

The Sheridan Road home belonged to Mikhail Katamanin, the Crain’s article says. After originally being listed at nearly $9 million in 2009 it was finally sold for $1.74 million last August.

The 11,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, a private beach and sits on more than an acre, according to its listing on Zillow.
