Local school and park districts announced cancellations of Tuesday evening events due to severe weather.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Severe weather has cancelled activities in and around Highland Park Tuesday afternoon. Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of up to 0.2 inches are expected through the expiration of a winter weather advisory Wednesday morning.
