Tenants' Rights the Focus of Oct. 17 Forum

The Highland Park Highwood Legal Aid Clinic will host a housing forum from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Highland Park High School, 433 Vine Ave.

Attendees are invited to learn about the legal rights of tenants or requirements as a landlord.

The clinic was formed after a 2013 needs assessment study by the Human Services Task Force identified the need for quality and affordable legal services in the areas of immigration, domestic violence and housing. It will serve those who live in Highland Park or Highwood who meet financial eligibility for services in these areas.
