Thank You, Highland Park Hospital: Letter

We're writing to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Highland Park Hospital for the excellent care they provided when our 14-year old son received treatment there for a broken leg back in September.

Throughout his two days and nights at the hospital, every staff member treated our son and ourselves so courteously and thoughtfully, and made us feel like we were their most important case (though I'm sure they had far more serious cases to treat).

They never seemed hurried or in a rush, and answered all our questions thoroughly. They also spent lots of time showing our son how to walk on his crutches, and everyone had a genuine smile.

It's great to have a hospital in our community that provides this sort of exemplary treatment, and it's a reflection on everyone working there, including its leaders, that we felt so well cared for.

Our son is out of his cast now and in physical therapy. We hope he'll be off crutches soon. Meanwhile, we're glad we have Highland Park Hospital in our community in case we ever need it again.
