CELEBRATE NATIONAL MEATBALL DAY – SWEDISH STYLE!

Celebrate National Meatball Day Swedish style with a benefit dinner for the Swedish American

Children's Choir on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 4:30-7 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church,

8 S Lincoln St. in Batavia. The dinner will feature Swedish Meatballs and Gravy, Mashed Potatoes,

Vegetables, Lingonberries, Swedish Rye bread and Swedish desserts.

Featured will be Swedish and American Baked Goods for sale as well as Swedish Antiques. A Swedish wood carver and Swedish Dala painter will also be present. All proceeds from the event

benefit the choir performance tour fund.

The choir, in its 20th year, is the largest of its kind in the Midwest and comprised of children 4-17 from

the Fox Valley and surrounding suburbs. They present performances of Swedish songs and Scandinavian

dances throughout the area and beyond.

Dinner tickets are by reservation only and carry out orders are available.

Tickets are $13 for Adults, $6.00 for children 3-10 years old and under 3 are free.
