Cows On The Moo-ve In Kane County
Police responded Friday after some cattle wandered into a subdivision in Hampshire.

HAMPSHIRE, IL — Unless you live on a farm, you don't typically find a bull in your backyard, but that's just what happened Friday in Kane County. The Village of Hampshire shared photos of some cattle that wandered into the Lakewood Crossing subdivision, casually strolling into yards and down the street.
It seems the village and local authorities handled the incident with their sense of humor intact. In a punny Facebook post, the village assured residents all was well.
"Thanks to the Hampshire Police Department's quick moooving response and udderly mandatory rodeo training, none of them are cowerds," the village posted.

"I hope they didn't get a MOOVING violation," one resident responded on Friday morning. "This is the most Illinois thing ever," wrote another.
