District 158 To Hire Firm To Help Find Next Superintendent
The Huntley School District 158 is looking to hire a search firm to help find its next superintendent.
HUNTLEY, IL - The Huntley School District 158 board of education will hire a search firm to help find the district's next superintendent. The board interviewed three potential candidates during a meeting earlier this month, according to the Northwest Herald.
The movement to hire the firm was jump started by current Superintendent John Burkey, who will resign on Jan. 31. The board will name an interim superintendent for the remainder of the current school year, with the search firm ultimately helping to hire a permanent one for 2018-19 and beyond.
The ECRA Group, BWP & Associates and School Exec Connect have been interviewed.
