First baby born in the New Year at Centegra Hospital-Woodstock.

Little Christopher Canache came into the world at 12:10 a.m. on New Year’s Day at Centegra Hospital-Woodstock making him Baby New Year in McHenry County.

The baby was born to parents Daniela and Pedro Canache of Huntley. He weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces. He joins big brother, 4-year-old Daniel.
