How Many Intoxicated Driving Arrests Were Made in Your City Last Year?
A list of cities and counties with the most DUI arrests in 2014, as well as the most per capita.
The Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists recently released its annual DUI arrest survey for 2014, which surveyed nearly 700 law enforcement agencies across Illinois and received a response rate of 84 percent.
The survey includes DUI arrest statistics for the Illinois State Police and Chicago Police Department, both of which saw a decrease in arrests over the year. Some cities saw significant spikes, though no city came close to the staggering 122 percent increase in Berwyn.
Along with the total number of DUI arrests for each municipality and county included in the survey, we used AAIM’s data to see which of them had the most DUI arrests per 1,000 people since more populated areas typically have more arrests.
