What mentor taught about success: He taught us to trust, to have hope, he brought faith where it was lost, he told us to remain strong, that even in the worst of times if we never give up we shall succeed.

What mentor taught about dealing with failure: He taught me that I did not need to go back to my old ways, that even though my family did not support me or believe in me, I have my son and our 11 year old pit bull that needed me and believed in me as well as he believed in me.

Best advice from mentor: Hang tight, Believe that things wi ll get better. Although not in these exact words, He restored faith in us and I believe changed my sons way of looking at life, for the better. this is the message my mentor our hero gave me.
