Huntley Cop Kicked In Face During Investigation, Charges Show
A man from Algonquin has been charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer after an alleged Sunday incident.

HUNTLEY, IL – A Huntley police officer was kicked in the face over the weekend, according to charges filed against a man from Algonquin. The Northwest Herald reports Sean Mara, 24, was held in the McHenry County Jail Tuesday night on charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting a peace officer.
The charges indicate Mara was interfering with a Huntley police investigation on Sunday, according to the Herald. He is accused of kicking one officer in the face while he was asked to cooperate.
