Huntley Police: Retail Theft, Thefts, Loaded Semi-truck Stolen

An oven was reported stolen from a vacant home in the 13400 block of Michigan Avenue on May 1, police said.
Alexandria T. Silva, 19, of 3532 Blue Ridge Court, Carpentersville, was arrested for retail theft on May 1, police said. Silva posted bond and was released with a Kane County court date of June 14.

An audio jack was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road, on May 2, according to reports.
Chad A. Harrison, 27, of 798 N. Prairie View #3C, Woodstock, and Michael R. DeMarco, 30, of 4851 Bordeau Drive, Lake in the Hills, were each charged with battery on May 2, police said. Both subjects were released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on June 10.

Two vehicles in the 11400 block of Smith Drive were damaged on May 3, according to police reports.
A loaded semi-trailer was stolen in the 11100 block of Dundee Road on May 4, police said.
David W. Bunte, 24, of 11711 Woodcreek Drive, #A, Huntley, was arrested May 5 for failure to notify of damage to an unattended vehicle, police said. Bunte posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of June 7.
