Illinois is the fifth-best state to make a living
Based on cost of living, taxes and average income, Illinois is one of the best places to manage a household
A new report by MoneyRates.com found that Illinois’ worth as a good place to earn a living grew from 2014 to 2015, moving up several spaces to claim the No. 5 spot in 2015’s list. The rankings were calculated based on cost of living index, average income, income tax, unemployment rate and work injury incidence.
