November Report Announces More Than 1,500 Layoffs
More than 1,500 employees will be affected by layoffs and closings at these 12 businesses.

As required by state law, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) reports are published each month. The reports identify the number of workers who will be affected by layoffs at companies with 75 or more full-time employees.
While some of these workers will be offered positions at other locations, such is the case for UPS employees at the Addison facility that’s temporarily closing for a two-year renovation; others will lose their jobs permanently.
More than 104 workers at the popular Rosewood Restaurant & Banquets in Rosemont will be affected when its doors close on Jan. 3, 2015. Gene & Georgetti announced plans to open its second restaurant in the space.
