Racial Threats On XBox Live Investigated By Huntley Police
Huntley police have opened an investigation into possible "racial and threatening comments" that were directed at a minor.
HUNTLEY, IL - Huntley police say an investigation has begun into possible "racial and threatening comments" that were sent to a minor via XBox Live. The Huntley Police Department in a statement on Wednesday said that officers are working with the Huntley Community School District 158 and police in Lake in the Hills into the comments that were alleged to have been made on Monday, Nov. 13.
The investigation possibly involved current or former students of schools in the area, police said.
"The Huntley Police Department takes matters such as this extremely serious and will take appropriate actions to maintain the safety and well-being of our community."
