Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
I believe Kayleigh should be nominated because she is a selfless, caring, genuinely kind and nurturing nurse who's committed to her job and to helping her patients in the Covid-19 unit where she is currently assigned, all the while dealing with her own immune comprised system. She was diagnosed at 18 years of age with Rheumatoid Arthritis and although she experiences her own personal pain and discomfort daily she pushes through that in order to be there for her patients. She works tirelessly to provide the best care she can and delivers compassion and empathy even if it's just lending an ear to those who need to talk. When she shares conversations they're rarely about her but rather her patients, like how strong they are or how a small joke brings a smile to their faces, and even better how elated the staff is when they get to go home. Standing all of 4'10 inches she's my little hero.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
"I want people to know that she is passionate about her Nursing career and dedicated to helping those in need. She is genuine, compassionate, selfless, has the best sense of humor, has awesome dance moves, and her laughter can make even the Grinch crack a smile. : )"
Thank you for all your do, Kayleigh!
