Windy Weather Delays Turkey Testicle Fest Tent Opening
The main tent at the Turkey Testicle Festival will not open until 6 p.m.

HUNTLEY, IL — Huntley’s popular Turkey Testicle Festival is taking special precautions this year due to today’s windy weather. The event will start at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the bar and patio at Parkside Pub, 11721 Main Street.
“In the interest of public safety” the main tent and stage area will not open until 6 p.m., according to a post on the Parkside Part Facebook page.
The evening music lineup will remain the same, but won’t start until 6 p.m., and complimentary buses will operate stations at 3 p.m.

Prior to the changes, the bar was expecting 6,000 people to stop out for the "largest single day party in McHenry County," according to the Parkside Pub Facebook page. The deep-fried "delicacy" will still be served up per usual.
