Top 10 Illinois Counties with the Most, Fewest Sex Offenders Per Capita

Last year we brought you a list of Illinois counties with the most sex offenders per capita. Based on the Illinois sex offender registry, Homefacts has updated its inventory of registered sex offenders per 10,000 people in each county.

Homefacts says there are 21.63 sex offenders per 10,000 people in Illinois, slightly more than last year’s 21.33 per 10,000 people, both of which are more dense than the national average of 14.3 offenders per 10,000 people.

Here are the top 10 counties in Illinois with the most and fewest sex offenders per capita.
