2 Hurt When Car Crashes Into Food 4 Less In Crest Hill

The driver and a person who was inside the store were injured.

CREST HILL, IL ? A vehicle crashed into the Food 4 Less grocery store on Larkin Avenue in Crest Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened just after 1 p.m. As of almost 3 p.m., Crest Hill police remained at the scene.

The vehicle, a white sedan, could be seen inside the store.

Lockport Township Deputy Fire Chief Frank Blaskey told Patch that the driver of the vehicle as well as a person who was inside the store were injured and taken to St. Joe's hospital. Their injuries were non-life-threatening, he said.

The driver was a man in his late 60s, according to Blaskey.
