3 Arrested Near Bicentennial Park With 4 Guns, Ecstasy: Police
Joliet police stopped the car Monday night near North Bluff Street and Western Avenue after observing a traffic violation, reports show.

JOLIET, IL — Three men from Joliet, Woodridge and Bolingbrook were hauled away to the Will County Jail in handcuffs by Joliet police Monday night after officers recovered four guns from their car as well as the hallucinogenic drug Ecstasy, according to police.
George Walker, 28, of Woodridge is lodged in the Will County Jail on charges of unlawful use of a weapon. Walker also had an active arrest warrant out of Cook County.
Terrance Mann, 35, of Bolingbrook was booked into the Will County Jail on charges of possession of controlled substances.

Jason Jackson, 40, of Joliet, was jailed on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Joliet police pulled over the carload of men near North Bluff Street and Western Avenue, after police say they observed a traffic violation. Jackson was the driver and Walker and Mann were his passengers, reports state.

Police learned that Walker had a warrant for his arrest out of Cook County.
"While George was exiting the vehicle to be placed into custody for the warrant, officers observed a handgun in plain view near the driver’s seat," police announced. "Walker was placed into custody without incident. Officers also observed an open container of alcohol in the vehicle."
Moments later, Joliet police seized Walker's gun and a "further search of the vehicle revealed three additional handguns within the vehicle," reports show.
As the search continued, Joliet police say they found Ecstasy pills after a search of Mann.
"Further investigation determined that Walker and Jackson were responsible for the firearms located within the vehicle," according to police.
