9 Guns Seized During Joliet Police House Raid, 2 Arrested
Joliet police officers raided the house in the 300 block of Union Street on Thursday night.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police arrested 19-year-old Adrian Bailey and a 17-year-old juvenile Thursday night during a house raid in the 300 block of Union Street. Six loaded handguns, two other guns and a rifle were seized by Joliet police, Sgt. Dwayne English announced.
Bailey was booked into the Will County Jail on five charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, five counts of unlawful possession of a gun and one count of having no FOID.
The 17-year-old boy was taken to the River Valley Juvenile Justice Center and charged with similar offenses.

Joliet police's SWAT teams and traffic patrol officers raided the house on Union Street around 8:30 p.m. "after an investigation determined that residents of the home were in unlawful possession of numerous firearms," English announced in his news release.

- one 7.62 rifle
- six loaded 9 mm handguns
- one .40 caliber handgun
- one 5.7 x 28mm handgun
- Several rounds of ammunition of various caliber bullets
Bailey and the 17-year-old boy were both were taken into custody without incident, police said. Will County Jail records show that Bailey lives in the 300 block of Union Street.
