
All U.S. military personnel, veterans and their families will be able to take part in Siegel's Cottonwood Farm's opening weekend of PumpkinFest 2012.
The weekend festivities will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 22 to 23.
As part of Siegel's third annual Military Appreciation Weekend, all Veterans and military personnel of the U.S. Armed Forces as well as their spouses and children, will receive free admission, with use of a valid military ID, in honor of their service to the country.

The event will feature over 20 activities, such as a farm animal petting zoo, hayrack rides, train rides, and the John Deere Grain Train.
Kids' activities willm include an inflatable military obstacle course, giant slides, three play lands and more.

The farm's 17-acre cornfield will feature "Zombie Politics 2012," with the likenesses of President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney carved out as zombies.
Additionally, various cold and hot meals and treats will be available.
From 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Joe Cantafio’s 101st Rock Division Band, which has entertained troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and Qatar as well as military bases in the states, will perform.
During the concerts, veteran organizations and Operations Support our Troops will also be on-site to showcase their services.
