And the Best Grocery Store in Joliet Is...

We asked Joliet Patch readers to nominate and vote on the best grocery store in the city of Joliet.

We had 11 nominees and of that number, Ultra Foods at 1590 N. Larkin Ave. was chosen as the "Reader's Choice for Best Grocery Store," receiving nearly 25 percent of the vote.

Here's how the numbers broke down:

Ultra Foods -- 23 percent
Tony's Finer Foods -- 19 percent
Mitchell's Market -- 17 percent
Food 4 Less -- 10 percent
Jewel at Midland Avenue and Jefferson Street -- 8 percent
Aldi -- 7 percent
Walmart -- 6 percent
Jewel at Route 59 and Caton Farm Road -- 5 percent
Target -- 2 percent
El Guero -- 1 percent
Sunshine Food Market -- 1 percent
