Angry Joliet Man Throws Brick At Car, Punches Driver: Police
Joliet police responded to the disturbance call in the 900 block of West Jefferson Street, arresting 34-year-old David M. Jenco.

JOLIET, IL — A 34-year-old Joliet man was arrested Friday evening after Joliet police say he got into an argument with an acquaintance during their drive along West Jefferson Street. At that point, passenger David M. Jenco exited the car, grabbed a landscaping brick, threw it at the car and then punched the driver, according to police.
Officers responded to the disturbance in the 900 block of West Jefferson Street around 5 p.m. Jenco was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, resisting the arrest and criminal damage to property.
"Officers determined that while Jenco and a male acquaintance who owned the vehicle were traveling on West Jefferson Street, Jenco grew angry while inside of the vehicle," Joliet police reports state. "The victim stopped the vehicle in the roadway and Jenco exited the vehicle and picked up a nearby landscape brick and threw it at the vehicle and then punched the victim. Officers learned that Jenco had possibly used drugs before the incident."

Police approached Jenco at the scene of the crime, but he was extremely agitated and appeared to be impaired, police said.
"Jenco then came at an officer with clinched fists at which time he was taken into custody after a brief struggle in which Jenco refused to place his hands behind his back," police noted.

Once officers arrested Jenco, he complained of a pre-existing health problem. A Joliet Fire Department ambulance was summoned to Jefferson Street. Several minutes later, Joliet police arrested Jenco and brought him to the police station for booking.
At the downtown station, Joliet police decided to call for another ambulance. This time, Joliet parademics brought Jenco to St. Joe's hospital "due to his level of impairment," police said.
Joliet police reports show that Jenco was released from custody on an I-bond. Joliet police listed Jenco's residence as being the Bel-Air Motel in the 1100 block of Plainfield Road.
