Another Pipe Break Inside Two Rialto Square

The July 2 water break caused substantial damage throughout the downtown professional office building.

JOLIET, IL - There's bad news and some not so bad news regarding Friday's latest water pipe break inside the Two Rialto Square Building, the professional office building just north of the historic Rialto Square Theatre. It's the second water pipe break this summer. Friday's incident caused more damage to the former law office of Scott Reich, Gregory Jumbeck and Mikal Stole. Fortunately for them, the lawyers had already vacated their fifth floor law office after the July 2 pipe burst.

They've relocated to the building's second floor.

Friday's damage did not appear to be nearly as devastating as the July 2 disaster that dumped thousands of gallons of water throughout the hallways and law offices on multiple floors including the second.

Once again, there were four neon-green trucks from ServPro, the company that specializes in damage restoration cleanup, parked along North Chicago Street on Friday.

ServPro crews spent approximately two weeks at Two Rialto Square in July, cleaning up the heavy damage caused by the July 2 pipe break. Friday's damage appeared to be concentrated around the empty fifth floor law office of Reich, Jumbeck and Stole which is adjacent to the Tomczak Law Group's office.
