April Ballot For Joliet Junior College Board Of Trustees Set

Eight candidates are vying for three open seats. Residents of JJC District 525 will vote on Tuesday, April 2.

In a little less than three months on Tuesday, April 2, residents of the Joliet Junior College (JJC) District 525 will vote on the JJC Board of Trustees, among other positions.

The race is heating up as eight candidates vie for the coveted three open seats. The candidates include the following:

· John (Jake) Mahalik, Joliet

· Dan McDonnell, Morris

· James A. Budzinski, Mokena

· Christopher J. Rademacher, Shorewood

· Thomas Scott Mccullagh, Shorewood

· Isiah "IKE" Williams Jr., Joliet

· Mike O'Connell, Shorewood

· Nancy Garcia, Romeoville

The JJC Board of Trustees serve six-year terms.

In addition to the above-mentioned Mahalik and O’Connell, who are both seeking re-election, the current JJC Board of Trustees include Chair – Bob Wunderlich, Vice Chair – Maureen Broderick, Patty Deiters, Alicia Morales, Dan O’Connell, and Student Trustee Alonso Rodriguez. O’Connell currently serves as Secretary of the Board.
