Bits of Tornado Victims' Lives Found All Over Joliet

Joliet dodged a bullet Sunday when the tornadoes that wreaked havoc in Illinois veered off our path, but that doesn't mean bits and pieces of its destruction haven't made their way here.

A search of Facebook pages trying to link people with the items that were lifted by the storms from homes in Washington, Coal City and elsewhere have landed in our back yard.

Here are a few of the items that Joliet residents found and hope to reunite with their owners that we found on sites with names such as PHOTOS found from Nov 17, 2013 Illinois Storms/Tornadoes and https://www.facebook.com/pages/Found-items-from-the-Washington-Illinois-and-Diamond-Illinois-Tornado.
