Brandon Road Bridge Reopened After 15-Month Closure

Illinois Department of Transportation officials issued a news release on Jan. 6, 2020 about the latest closure.

JOLIET, IL — The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Monday that the Brandon Road Bridge over the Des Plaines River in Joliet has finally reopened. The bridge had been shut down for emergency repairs since early January 2020.
