The city of Joliet issued this news release: Chicago Street, between Cass and Webster, will be closed Monday, December 2, 2013, through Saturday, December 7, 2013, due to the water main tie-in for the Joliet Junior College project. The streets will be open in the evenings. The intersection of Webster and Chicago Street will remain open. Traffic control will be provided and a detour will be posted during the closure. If you have any questions, please contact the Department of Public Works at (815) 724-4200.
