Classic Book Turned Off-Broadway Show Headed to The Rialto
"Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus Live!" is headed to Joliet on Sept. 29. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.

The New York Times best-selling book now Off-Broadway live show “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” is coming to the Rialto Square Theatre on Friday, September 27 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 19 at 10:00 a.m.
The live one-man show for “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” is based on the 1992 book of the same name written by author and relationship counselor John Gray. Although the book went on to achieve its own massive success with more than 50 million copies sold in 40 different languages and 121 weeks on the bestseller list, the live show has become a cult classic of its own.
After first premiering in Paris in 2007 and having more than one million people attend in Europe, the live show then made its way to the States in 2013. Since that time, audiences have been treated to a hysterical show filled laugh-out-loud comedy, engaging storytelling and tons of knowledge and wisdom as opposites learn more and more about one another. The show will feature vignettes and discuss dating and relationships in a way that is only meant for adults to witness and enjoy.

The live show is produced by St. Louis-based company Emery Entertainment, who has produced top shows like the Blue Man Group and David Copperfield, just to name a few. The production team will consist of award-winning playwright Eric Coble, Broadway director Mindy Cooper, as well as animation and video production animators at Brazillion Productions.
