Coronavirus Prompts Chicago Street Pub Temporary Shutdown
The downtown Joliet pub announced on Facebook that it will be closed temporarily because of a coronavirus case.

JOLIET, IL — One of downtown Joliet's best known establishments, Chicago Street Pub, won't be open for the next several days. The pub on North Chicago Street announced on social media that it had a positive coronavirus involving someone in "The Chicago Street Family."
Out of an abundance of caution, it will remain closed through Sunday, Jan. 17, employees announced. "We will reopen after negative tests, quarantine and other disinfecting of the building," Chicago Street Pub wrote on Facebook.
In 2019, Joliet Patch profiled Chicago Street Pub for a food review highlighting the "Megan's Lunch special." The business is located at 75 North Chicago St.
