Ethan Rickey Parker, age 55 years, died suddenly at his residence on Thursday, November 7, 2013.  Born in Joliet, he graduated from Joliet Township High School, class of 1976. United States Navy veteran. Formerly employed as a CNA.  Preceded in death by his mother and the loving stepfather who raised him, Richard and Irene McGill.  Survived by his devoted wife, Vanessa Parker; daughter Rashounda Cottrell, of St Paul, Minn.; four brothers; two sisters; and three stepsisters.  Funeral services will be Thursday, November 14, at 7 PM at Range Funeral Home, 202 S. Eastern Ave., Joliet, IL., 60433. Visitation from 5 to 7 PM. Elder Rodney Parker officiating.
