The Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department will present a recital by pianist G. Richard Deal.
Deal will perform music by Chopin, Brahms, and Beethoven.
The recital will serve as part of the JJC's Musica Viva Recital Series.

Deal, an adjunct instructor at JJC, and is the accompanist for the JJC Chamber Singers and the JJC Chorale. He has presented over 2,600 sacred and classical piano concerts in North America, Europe, Asia and South America. He has appeared in concert at the Hong Kong Cultural Center in Hong Kong, China. Mr. Deal studied with the eminent Chicago artist-teacher, William Browning and received the Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance from the American Conservatory of Music and the Sherwood Conservatory of Music, respectively.
He received the Advanced Studies degree from the Moody Bible Institute. While at Moody, he was a member of the Moody Concert Band and performed the first movement of Grieg’s Piano Concerto eighteen times in concert in one season.
