JOLIET, IL ? A 44-year-old citizen from Plainfield who was showing his private parts to people washing their vehicles at a Route 59 business last month has been arrested by the Joliet police on charges of disorderly conduct, the arrest report for Alejandro Garcia showed.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, back on April 25 at 9:55 a.m., a complaint was made at the Joliet Police Department West Station with reference to a man seen in a vehicle in the parking lot of a car wash at 1801 Route 59.

It was alleged that the male was seen with his genitalia exposed while in the vehicle, English noted. The man in the vehicle then left the area.

Detectives identified as Garcia as a suspect and Garcia was interviewed at the Joliet Police Department on Tuesday, about the incident on April 25.

Following questioning, Garcia was processed for disorderly conduct and released on a Notice to Appear, English noted.

Disorderly conduct is not one of the crimes in Illinois that someone can be detained under the SAFE-T-Act.
